3D printing could precisely control internal structure of drugs

(ECNS) — Triastek, a Nanjing-based global leader in 3D printing, printed a section of a drug on Wednesday.
Deng Huangfei, its vice CTO, said 3D printing technology can precisely control the internal structure of drugs to control their programmed release within the human body.
Furthermore, the automatic pharmaceutical process can ensure that the drugs meet unified high standards of quality, said Deng.
