Mauricio Pochettino gives update on PSG future amid Man Utd links

Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he is happy at Paris Saint-Germain and he is not responsible for reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
90min understands that Pochettino would be willing to succeed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford immediately following the Norwegian's sacking.
But the former Spurs boss has stressed that he is happy with life in the French capital ahead of PSG's crunch Champions League clash with Manchester City.
“I'm happy in Paris," Pochettino told RMC Sport. "I know the city well both as a player and a coach, I have always lived this type of situation."
He added: "I am not a kid, I am not a child. I spend my whole life playing football and now 12 years being a coach, we are in a business where the rumours are there, I completely understand… I'm not distracted. Rumours are there and we need to live with that."
Mauricio Pochettino insists PSG were not impacted by rumours linking him with Man Utd as they fell 2-1 to Man City.
PSG have contacted Zinedine Zidane in case Mauricio Pochettino leaves to join Man Utd.
Man Utd are interested in hiring Ralf Rangnick as interim manager if they cannot agree a deal for Mauricio Pochettino or Brendan Rodgers before the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino and Brendan Rodgers are Man Utd's two leading candidates to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and would be prepared to take the job immediately.
Pochettino was heavily touted to be open to return to Tottenham in the summer and failed to play down those reports at the time. But he said in an interview with the Guardian last week that the reason for this was that he was not the one fuelling the fire and so did not feel it was appropriate to comment on speculation.
It appears this remains his mentality regarding the links with Man Utd, adding: "Things happen and it's not my responsibility. What I'm going to say if you ask me is that I'm happy in Paris.”
However, when asked if he would see out his contract at PSG, he remained coy, saying: "Football is about the present."
While Pochettino has reiterated his desire to stay at Parc des Princes, it was reported on Tuesday that United have opened talks with Ernesto Valverde over becoming interim manager.
The 57-year-old was sacked after two and a half seasons at Barcelona at the start of 2020, winning two La Liga titles in his time at Camp Nou.
90min also understands that Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers would be willing to take over on a full-time basis if asked.
