IND vs SA 5th T20 Dream11 Prediction & Fan2Play Possible 11 Pitch Report | IND vs SA 5th T20 Dream11 Prediction Today | India vs South Africa 5th T20 Key Players | Bengaluru Pitch Report

From 2-0 down, India have fought back brilliantly to level the series at 2-2. And their victory last game at Rajkot would have provided them with a great deal of satisfaction as they recovered from a difficult start to post a strong total on a tricky pitch. The ageless Dinesh Karthik and excellent Hardik Pandya were key to that as both showed the kind of form they displayed in the recent IPL.

In a series where the surfaces have largely been challenging for batting, the decider takes place at a ground that is known for its batting-friendly features. Bengaluru usually is a belter of a batting pitch, with the shorter boundaries also an advantage for those yielding the willow. With rain around, there is the possibility of a shortened match which could bring out the shots earlier, too.

Should the weather be kind enough, we will be witness to what could be a thrilling decider. The Proteas threw the first two punches but India have struck back, with the hosts now looking the more settled with the tourists facing a few injury concerns. This match could come down to a brilliant individual performance, and both sides have the kind of players who can pull it off.

IND vs SA 5th T20 Possible Playing 11

India look settled and could stick with the same XI for the decider. However, they need more from their top order, particularly Rishabh Pant.

India: 1. Ruturaj Gaikwad, 2. Ishan Kishan, 3. Shreyas Iyer, 4. Rishabh Pant (c & wk), 5. Hardik Pandya, 6. Dinesh Karthik, 7. Axar Patel, 8. Harshal Patel, 9. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 10. Avesh Khan, 11. Yuzvendra Chahal

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma retired hurt in the fourth match due to an elbow injury. His participation in this match is unknown at the time of writing. Also, Kagiso Rabada and Wayne Parnell missed the last match with injuries, so it remains to be seen if they are fit.

South Africa: 1. Temba Bavuma (c)/Reeza Hendricks, 2. Quinton de Kock (wk), 3. Dwaine Pretorius, 4. Rassie van der Dussen, 5. Heinrich Klaasen, 6. David Miller, 7. Marco Jansen/Wayne Parnell, 8. Keshav Maharaj, 9. Anrich Nortje, 10. Lungi Ngidi/Kagiso Rabada, 11. Tabraiz Shamsi

  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar is conceding just 6.07 runs per over in this series. He will be key in the powerplay, especially against Quinton de Kock whom he has dismissed once in ten balls in T20 Internationals.

  • Marco Jansen (if picked) will have a key role in the powerplay, especially against Gaikwad. The India opener struggles against left-arm seam in T20s: 24 inns, 169 balls faced, 224 runs scored, 12 dismissals, avg. 18.67.
  • Dwaine Pretorius is South Africa’s leading wicket-taker this series (5) and is likely to have the role of pinch-hitter at three once again. He scored 29 off 13 balls in the first match of this series.
  • Kagiso Rabada has taken seven wickets in two T20s at the Chinnaswamy. Also, he conceded just 6.75 per over in the first three T20Is of this series. The Proteas will be hoping he’s fit for this one.
