Monday the NBA released the 2022 Las Vegas NBA Summer League schedule.
The San Antonio Spurs will play in five games while in Vegas, with four scheduled games, and the fifth game will be decided after the outcome of the first four games for each team.
Here’s who the Spurs will play in the four games, as well as the date, time, and TV channel:
Friday July 8 – vs Cleveland Cavaliers, 4:00 PM CT, NBATV
The Spurs will have a chance to face whoever the Cavaliers draft at 14th in Thursday’s NBA Draft.
Sunday July 10 – vs Golden State Warriors, 6:30 PM CT, NBATV
The Warriors will draft 28th in Thursday’s draft, so the Spurs may get the opportunity to face whoever is drafted there. Right now Kennedy Chandler and Dalen Terry are projected to go 28th based on mock draft averages.
Monday July 11 – vs Houston Rockets, 6:00 PM CT, ESPN
The Rockets are expected to have three first round picks in Thursday’s draft, with the 3rd, 17th, and 26th picks. Paolo Banchero is expected to be drafted 3rd, Tari Eason has a mock draft average of 17th and Walker Kessler has a mock draft average of 26th.
Thursday July 14 – vs Atlanta Hawks, 2:00 PM CT, ESPN 2
The Hawks will have the 16th pick in Thursday’s draft. Ochai Agbaji has a mock average of 16th before the draft.
As for the Spurs, they’ll enter Thursday’s draft with the 9th, 20th, and 25th picks in the first round. In the second round, they’ll have the 38th pick. Barring trades for any of these picks, the Spurs usually have their rookies play in Summer League games.
