Institutional strengths of Shanghai FTZ boost confidence: Tesla’s vice president
The institutional strengths of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone have boosted confidence of enterprises, Tesla's Global Vice President Tao Lin said on Wednesday during the forum commemorating the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. The Shanghai Free Trade Zone, founded in 2013 as the first of its kind in China, had attracted 84,000 newly-built enterprises by the end of 2022, according to a white paper released at the forum. Ten enterprises, including Tesla, received awards for classic sample enterprises of institutional innovation at the forum. Tesla will continue to increase investment in China in the future, Tao Lin said.
