Colleen Makhubele’s membership to COPE has been terminated.
The South African Rainbow Alliance (SARA) refuted claims by the Congress of the People (COPE) that the party had not confirmed its participation in the new minority coalition.
On Monday, COPE announced that it had terminated the membership of Colleen Makhubele and Ofentse Moalusi because party rules did not allow for dual political membership.
COPE said it had been in talks to join the alliance, but had not made an official decision.
