Wyndham Clark is in great form. Many wonder what the recipe is for such brilliant performances by this American lately. Clark is on a great path to win the Players Championship title after back-to-back 65s in the opening two rounds. In an interview with the media, Clark discussed his performances, which have thrilled golf fans. It also seems that Clark himself doesn’t know the reason for his good form. For him, the most important thing is to continue at the same pace in the future.

“No. I mean, I guess you guys could say what you want on that. I just really don’t know what it is. I would like to play great every week.”– Clark said, as quoted by golfmonthly.com!

What surprised many was the continuation of the interview. Clark emphasized that Scottie Scheffler is someone he looks up to. Scheffler is currently considered by many as the best golfer, whose form is truly impressive. Clark has been following Scheffler’s performances for a long time and realized that being consistent is the most important thing. This characteristic is what makes an athlete special and better than others. Clark wants to continue with the same form and remain consistent in the coming weeks and months. The 30-year-old golfer has shown that he has the qualities for great things, but he must maintain such form against the big challenges that lie ahead.

I really looked at how Scottie has been playing this year and last year and I use him as someone to try to keep up with, and he plays good every week. So my thing is just try to be consistent and with our schedule now too you kind of only play big events, so that’s part of it as well.”- he continued.

Scottie Scheffler is considered by many to be leading the way in the golf scene. Although the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are two separate Tours, many believe that Scheffler is currently the best golfer overall. Wyndham has emphasized that he has tremendous respect for Scheffler and the consistency he shows. He also confirmed that this is Scottie’s best characteristic.

Clark stressed that he is also one of the more consistent golfers, but not as consistent as Scottie. Players like Scheffler can be a huge motivation for you to be equally good and strive to improve. Clark believes he owes a lot to Scheffler considering his quality performances lately.

This great golfer emphasized that he has always dreamed of being where he is now. However, a few things were missing for him to embark on these winning paths. Clark believes that these are things related to his game and mental aspects. Clark is aware of how important the mental aspect of the game is. If you know how to deal with pressure, if you can be mentally strong when it’s toughest, then you are on the right path to becoming excellent at what you do. Changing your mentality is the best path to success.

Xander Schauffele will be a huge threat to this 30-year-old golfer, just like Nick Taylor, Fitzpatrick, and a few others. Looking at his current mentality and self-belief, there are excellent chances that Clark will remain equally focused and win this competition.

It would be a great success for him that would pave the way for even greater achievements. Clark must stay focused now when it’s most important, show his qualities, and lift the trophy.

Wyndham Clark and Masters

Wyndham will have the opportunity to compete at the Masters this year. Playing in such a Major is every golfer’s dream. He dreamed about it as a boy, and his dream has become a reality. What surprised many is that Clark visited Augusta National for the first time last week. Although he had previously had the chance to visit Augusta National, he promised to visit only when he became eligible to play there.

“I have had two opportunities to go prior to that, and I kind of made a little pact with myself that I wouldn’t go until I was eligible to play in the tournament.

It was a really cool trip because I went with my dad and brother, who they have never been and so we went and had an awesome kind of Clark boys trip and it was very memorable.”- he concluded.

The last winner of the Masters was 29-year-old golfer Jon Rahm, who decided to join LIV Golf and surprise everyone. It’s difficult to estimate who can go all the way this year, but Clark is one of the names that can make a surprise. Although for many, his victory wouldn’t be a surprise.
