There is a possibility of heavy rain in most of the states of North-East India including Arunachal Pradesh from March 30 to April 1. There is also a possibility of storm and thunder during this period.

Avalanche occurred in Hung area of Sonamarg

A senior police officer said that the avalanche occurred in Hung area of Sonamarg in Ganderbal district. A police team immediately reached the spot and successfully pulled out two vehicles trapped in the snow avalanche. Due to prompt action there was no harm to the passengers.

Two cyclonic conditions formed

IMD said that two separate cyclonic conditions are prevailing in southern Assam and Odisha. Under its influence, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds in almost all the northeastern states including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, the Ganga coastal areas of West Bengal and Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar during March 30 to April 1. Is.

Temperature will be higher than normal in April-May, heat wave will continue

Senior scientist of IMD, Dr. Naresh Kumar said that the temperature is expected to be above normal in the months of April and May. However, he also said that it is too early to make any accurate predictions. He said that due to high temperature, there is a possibility of heat wave like situation in the coming months. He said that heat wave conditions may occur in the central part of the country in April. May is going to be the hottest and there is a strong possibility of heat wave in North-West as well as Central India. On a question, he said that the temperature in North-West India may exceed 35 degrees Celsius.
