Let us tell you that Google is going to shut down its podcast service from April 2. This was announced by the company in the month of September itself in 2023. Now its deadline is near. You will not be able to use it after April 2, 2024.

It has been told by Google that if you use Google Podcasts and it contains your data, then you should immediately transfer it to YouTube Music. According to Google, users can use podcasts only till March 2024, while its users will be able to transfer the membership till July 2024.

Transfer data in this way

  • Users will have to visit their Google Podcasts app.
  • Now you have to select Export Subscription at the top of the screen.
  • Now you will get the option to export to YouTube music.
  • Now you have to select the export option in it.
  • Now you have to select the Continue option.
  • If you want to see your subscription then you have to go to Go to Library option.

If you transfer your data, it may take some time. Not only this, you also have to keep in mind that not all podcasts will be transferred to YouTube Music. You will see “Content is unavailable” written next to the podcasts that will not transfer.
