Lakers waive Blake Hinson after brief stint with team
The Los Angeles Lakers have waived two-way guard Blake Hinson, according to a report from NBA insider Michael Scotto.
Hinson joined the Lakers after going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft and signing a two-way contract on July 5.
Despite his strong college resume, including being named first-team All-ACC during his final season at Pittsburgh, Hinson’s time with the Lakers was short-lived.
Scotto’s report revealed that Hinson’s shooting abilities, particularly from beyond the arc, had intrigued several teams following the draft.
