Tumbbad Box Office: Sohum Shah starrer continues to stay over Rs. 1 crore mark, aiming for Rs. 40 crores lifetime :Bollywood Box Office
It has been a really steady week for Tumbbad so far. The film has been holding up quite well on the weekdays with collections staying over the Rs. 1 crore mark right through. After collecting Rs. 1.06 crore on Monday and then Rs. 1.03 crore on Tuesday, the film did well on Wednesday too with Rs. 1 crore more coming in. That’s quite good because it’s numbers like these that will bring the film into a clean hit zone.
In fact, for the first time Stree 2 has some sort of competition as well, at least on the weekdays. Agreed that the film has been doing superbly even in its sixth week and the weekend was super solid too. However during weekdays, the film has surprisingly seen drops and though it’s still the highest collector amongst all other movies in the running, Tumbbad is now a close second which no one could see coming.
There is Devara: Part 1 releasing tomorrow and finally there would be a new film since Independence Day weekend that will actually bring in some numbers from the opening day itself. Still, for Tumbbad the job is done as it has come quite close to the Rs. 25 crores mark with a score of Rs. 24.66 crores to its name. It’s definitely going to cross Rs. 35 crores in lifetime and also has an outside chance to hit Rs. 40 crores, which will be superb.
