Joel Embiid: Criticism is unfair; I’ve sacrificed for this city
Joel Embiid has received criticism from various sources regarding his continued absence this fall. In particular, Marcus Hayes of The Philadelphia Inquirer has written several columns accusing the 30-year-old center of being unprofessional and criticizing the 76ers for their lack of transparency regarding his condition.
In response, Embiid emphasized that he is prioritizing what is best for his body and noted that he has often played through injuries and returned early from other situations throughout his career.
