Patna:- An important news has come out for lakhs of passengers returning to their work from Bihar after the great festival of Chhath Puja. Every year after Chhath Puja, a huge crowd gathers at major railway stations like Patna Junction. Lakhs of people return to their work after celebrating Chhath Puja. This year, Danapur Railway Division has taken special steps to control the crowd and ensure the convenience of passengers.

Ban on platform ticket

The railway administration has decided to ban the sale of platform tickets at Patna Junction between 8 and 11 November. This means that during this period no person will be able to enter the station without a valid travel ticket. The purpose of this decision is to prevent unnecessary crowd on the platform, so that only those passengers can enter the platform who have a valid ticket for travel.

DRM Jayant Chaudhary of Danapur Railway Division, explaining the need for this step, said that there is a special crowd here after Chhath Puja, and usually passengers come to the station with their families, causing crowd and chaos on the platform. This system has been implemented to control this situation, so that passengers do not face any difficulty in boarding their train.

This step is for the convenience and safety of passengers

At big railway stations like Patna Junction, where thousands of passengers travel every day, it becomes very important to control the crowd on the platform. The railway administration has taken this decision keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the passengers, so that there are not too many people on the platform and no untoward or accident situation arises.

Increased travel demand

After Chhath Puja, there is a huge increase in the number of passengers traveling from Patna to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and other major cities. Railways need additional trains and special arrangements for these passengers. During this time, an increase in the demand for tickets is also seen at Patna Junction, as people travel to return to their work. After this new arrangement of the railways, passengers will be able to avoid any kind of inconvenience and complete their journey comfortably. This step will prove to be very important from the point of view of passenger safety and management.

Situation normal after November 11

After November 11, this special arrangement will end and the sale of platform tickets will start normally. The railway administration has clarified that the purpose of this arrangement is only to control the increased crowd after Chhath Puja and all normal services will be restored as soon as the situation becomes normal.
