Bihar News: There is good news for those who are fond of traveling by train between the capital Patna to Howrah and Lucknow. Now Vande Bharat Express with 16 racks will run on this route. In view of the high rush of passengers on both these routes, Indian Railways has decided to double the number of Vande Bharat bogies. In the first phase of this decision, the rack of train number 22345/22346 Vande Bharat Express running between the capital Patna and Gomti Nagar in Lucknow will be changed.

Vande Bharat with 16 bogies reached Patna

According to the information, the 16 bogie Vande Bharat Express running between Patna and Lucknow has reached the capital Patna. While in the second phase, the Vande Bharat rack running between Patna and Howrah will soon reach Patna. Its operation will also be started after the trial. After the operation starts with the new rack on both these routes, the rack with eight bogies will be sent to Chennai.

At present, Vande Bharat train is passing through 15 districts

At the same time, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told in the VC that at present 12 Vande Bharat trains are running or passing through 15 districts of Bihar. On March 12 last year, the operation of Vande Bharat train with eight coaches was started between the capital Patna and Gomti Nagar in Lucknow. At the same time, the operation of Vande Bharat with eight coaches started between Patna and Howrah on 24 December 2023.

Railways took the decision keeping in mind the convenience of passengers

But, the number of passengers in Vande Bharat train running on both the routes has started increasing. The load on the train has increased, due to which hundreds of passengers were not able to get reservation. Keeping this in mind, Railways has decided to run Vande Bharat with 16 coaches on both the routes to make the journey of people easier.
