Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Brain Rot’ Earns ₹2 Crore Despite Clash With Loveyapa, Sanam Teri Kasam

Despite the weekend being a busy one for Indian theatres with multiple releases, Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravi Kumar has refused to budge. The film, which has been making headlines for all the amusing reasons, earned a whopping Rs 2 crore on its second day.
Badass Ravi Kumar, which is being tagged as the ‘ultimate brain rot’ of 2025, released in theatres on February 7, Friday, and it became Himesh’s biggest opener till date with a box office collection of Rs 2.50 crore. However, it saw a slight dip on Saturday with Rs 2 crore, thus taking the film’s total collection to Rs 4.50 crore.
Badass Ravi Kumar clashes with the new release Loveyapa, and much-awaited re-releases like Interstellar and Sanam Teri Kasam at the Indian theatres. But despite the competition, the Himesh-starrer has been making sure to give a tough time to the other films.
Badass Ravi Kumar had been in the news ever since it was announced, and the highlight of the film seems to be the dialogues and action scenes, which almost look like the parody versions of some of the biggest Bollywood films.
The film has also hit the nostalgic nerve for Himesh’s loyal fans as it has brought back the singer’s unique voice with the numerous peppy tracks in the film, including Tandoori Days and Dil Ke Taj Mahal Meinn.
Directed by Keith Gomes and produced under the Himesh Reshammiya Melodies banner, Badass Ravi Kumar also stars a power-packed ensemble cast, including Prabhu Deva, Manish Wadhwa, Kirti Kulhari, Sanjay Mishra, Sunny Leone, and Saurabh Sachdeva in key roles.
