In The End, It All Makes Sense, Says Allu Arjun
In a heartfelt speech at the Thanks meet of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Hyderabad, Icon Star Allu Arjun expressed his deepest gratitude to every crew member who worked on the movie. “I would like to thank every member, who may have been part of the movie for 5 minutes or even five years,” he began, his voice filled with sincerity. He said the movie of this magnitude would not have been possible without Mythri Movie Makers.
As he acknowledged the praise he received for Pushpa’s success, Allu Arjun humbly deflected the credit to his director, Sukumar. “The reason I have been able to perform so well is because of my genius director’s guidance. Irrespective of his stature, any actor will falter without a director. So the entire credit must go to Sukumar,” he said, praising Sukumar’s exceptional direction.
Talking about the music which was also one of the reasons for the movie’s popularity, Bunny said, “I used to marvel at chart-topping hits with millions of views, wondering how they achieved such incredible success. But Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) took it to a whole new level, showing me what a billion views looks like!”
As Allu Arjun recalled the last day of shoot, his emotions overflowed. “I got emotional because for me, Pushpa is not just a film, it’s a journey,” he said, baring his sentiment. Talking about the Jathara sequence, he thanked his choreographers for their contribution to the film’s success. “People credit me for my expressions in the Jathara sequence, but I would like to thank all my choreographers,” he said.
The climax action sequence, which received widespread acclaim, was also a topic of discussion. Allu Arjun praised fight master Navkanth master for his exceptional work. “I must thank Navkanth master for the climax shot. I worked for almost 20 days for this fight, and there were only a few shots without rope. Navkanth designed it so well that I could perform all the sequences without a scratch, because he rehearsed for 40 days on how to choreograph this fight with an artist, ensuring his safety and executing it beautifully,” he explained.
As Allu Arjun reflected on the magnitude of the film, he expressed his gratitude to the team members for their tireless efforts. “At times, we would wonder if this movie would ever finish, because all of us blindly followed the director. But the end was worth every second of these five years. I must thank the team members for making this end meaningful,” he said.
In a final message to his fans, Allu Arjun dedicated the success of Pushpa 2 to them. “I want to dedicate the success of this film to my army of fans. I promise to make you prouder,” he said.
Talking about Pushpa 3, the actor said, “Everybody’s talking about that and the energy is there. It will happen when things falls in place,” he signed off.
