NALSAR to launch Milon K Banerji Arbitration Centre on Feb 15-Telangana Today

Hyderabad: The NALSAR University of Law is set to launch the Milon K Banerji Arbitration Centre (MKBAC) on the university campus here on Saturday. The centre is envisioned as a premier research, training, and teaching hub dedicated to advancing arbitration law and practice.
The MKBAC aims to foster collaboration among students, legal scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, providing a platform for academic discourse and professional development, the university said on Thursday.
Established through an endowment by senior advocate Gourab Banerji, the Centre has been named in honour of the late Milon K Banerji, an esteemed jurist who served as Attorney General for India (1992–1996, 2004–2009).
The MKBAC’s launch will feature a keynote address by Supreme Court former Judge and MKBAC Chair Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman. Telangana High Court judge Justice Moushumi Bhattacharya, Senior Advocate and MKBAC co-chair Ritin Rai, and Gourab Banerji will also participate.
