Gayatri Rubbers jumps after securing orders from multiple Indian Railway Zones

During Friday’s trading session, the shares of a leading manufacturer of rubber profiles in diverse sectors surged nearly 1.2 percent on NSE, after the company secured orders from multiple Indian Railway Zones and Industrial Sector.

With a market cap of Rs. 264 crores, the shares of Gayatri Rubbers And Chemicals Limited closed in the green at Rs. 460, up by around 1.2 percent, as compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 454.5.
The company was listed on the NSE in 2023, becoming the first and only rubber profile company to achieve this milestone.
What’s the news
Gayatri Rubbers And Chemicals Limited, as per recent regulatory filings with the NSE, has announced securing work orders worth around Rs. 1.03 crores from multiple Indian Railway Zones and Industrial Sector.
These orders involve the supply of the product “Neoprene Rubber, Fire Retardant Gasket and Rubber Compound”, with execution as per the terms and conditions outlined in the of the Letter of work orders, and completion scheduled within one month.

Previous Orders
5th December 2024: Gayatri Rubbers received orders worth nearly Rs. 34.8 crores from Smart Meter and Industrial Sector companies for the supply of “Neoprene Rubber Gaskets.”
9th January 2025: The company secured work orders worth around Rs. 55 lakhs from Smart Meter companies and Indian Railways for the supply of “Rubber Profiles Gaskets.”
Financials
Gayatri Rubbers reported a significant growth in revenue from operations, experiencing a year-on-year increase of nearly 26.5 percent, rising from Rs. 10.78 crores in H1 FY24 to Rs. 13.64 crores in H1 FY25.


Similarly, the company’s net profit increased from Rs. 0.6 crores to Rs. 1.3 crores over the same period, representing a growth of around 113 percent YoY.
