Meghan Markle Acknowledges She Made 'Mistakes' With Terrible Brand Relaunch
Meghan Markle‘s business has been one debacle after another! But at least she’s owning up to it!
The Duchess of Sussex is set to launch her new lifestyle brand As Ever soon, and let’s just say, it’s been a wild ride to get here. After months and months of teasing the company, originally titled American Riviera Orchard, the 43-year-old made the shocking decision to rebrand last month.
That was presumably meant to be a clean slate of sorts. But her announcement came with even more controversy as fans noticed she not only copied her name from a small NYC-based clothing company but also seemingly ripped off the logo from a Spanish town! WHAT?? There’s also a Chinese brand named ASEVER that already has the trademark for clothes, which means Meg won’t be able to sell clothing! Yeesh!!

Referencing the ups and downs she’s had as an entrepreneur so far, the mother of two told People in a new cover story on Monday:
“There are tons of twists and turns — even with the name. I was figuring it out in real time.”
That was obvious! She continued:
“I appreciate everyone who gave me the grace to make mistakes and figure it out and also to be forgiving with myself through that. It’s a learning curve.”
Let’s just hope her eventual launch isn’t as chaotic!
What are we gonna find out next, that she stole someone’s jam recipe?? LOLz! She needs to get her team dialed in so they can nip these mistakes in the bud, especially knowing how much is weighing on the success of this company! Eventually, these mistakes stop being seen as “a learning curve” and instead seem like a sign of incompetence and unprofessionalism. Just saying!
