Logistics stock jumps 5% after commencing operations at Adani Group’s new depot

The shares of a logistics and supply chain company that operates in the transportation, warehousing, and logistics industries surged 5 percent today after commencing operations for Adani Group’s New Depot under the CFA model.

On Friday, the shares of Kaushalya Logistics Ltd, with a total market capitalization of Rs 174.09 Crores, reached an Intraday high of Rs 94.5 per share, gaining around 5 percent in the trading session today. As of 1:00 pm, the shares were trading at Rs 93.95 apiece, which was 4.4 percent higher than the previous close of Rs 90.
What Happened
According to a press release dated March 7, 2025, the company has begun operations at the Tohana Depot in Haryana for Ambuja Cements under the CFA model. This depot is the 10th location and 14th depot for the Adani Group under the CFA model, expanding the network to a total of 99 depots and rake points across various states in India.
With this new addition, the company now operates 24 depots and rake-handling facilities for the Adani Group, strengthening its role as a trusted supply chain partner for one of India’s leading cement manufacturers. In addition, the company also announced the start of operations at the Kaithal Depot in Haryana for ACC and Ambuja Cements under the CFA model.

Management Commentary
Mr Uddhav Poddar, Managing Director of the company, commented that this new depot will further strengthen their partnership with the Adani Group and also expand their presence in the cement industry. With each new depot, the company is reinforcing its position as a trusted partner by ensuring seamless and efficient supply chain solutions for the clients.
Financials
The company’s Revenue from operations declined by 46 percent YoY from Rs 878.65 Crores in H1FY24 to Rs 473.86 Crores in H1FY25. However, their Net Profits saw a growth of 42 percent YoY from Rs 4.3 Crores to Rs 6.12 Crores over the same period.
