Unrelated Visuals Peddled With False Claim About Bachchans Attending Aishwarya Rai’s Funeral
How did we find out the truth?: To start with, we ran a keyword search using Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name to look for any recent news reports carrying information about her being in an accident or her death.
None of the most recent reports carried any such information, showing that this claim was yet another celebrity death hoax.
What about the video?: We then ran reverse images on screenshots taken at different points in the video on Google, which led us to a 2018 report by Rediff.com, which carried visuals similar to one part of the video.

It said that it showed Bollywood personalities attending the funeral of Krishna Raj Kapoor, wife of the veteran Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor.

The report carried similar visuals of Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan as seen in the claim.
A photo of him attending Khanna’s funeral, in the same outfit, was also available on stock image website Alamy.
Conclusion: Old, unrelated visuals are being shared with the false claim that they show the Bachchan family at Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s funeral after she passed away in a car accident.
