TOMCOM Signs MoUs With Japanese Agencies To Facilitate Jobs For Telangana Youth



Hyderabad: In a significant development to enhance global employment opportunities for the youth of Telangana, Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM), a state-run organization under the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Factories signed a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with two leading companies

The MoU was signed with the companies – TERN (TGUK Technologies Private Limited) and Raj Group in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy during his ongoing official visit to Japan.

This collaboration is aimed at facilitating the recruitment of skilled professionals from Telangana to meet the growing workforce demands in Japan across several high-demand sectors.

TERN Group with its regional office in Tokyo’s Shinagawa district, specializes in international recruitment for the Software, Engineering, and Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) sectors within Japan.

Raj Group in partnership with Tsukui Corporation Limited, Japan’s leading nursing care employer has been working with TOMCOM for training and recruitment of caregivers and with the new MoU, will expand collaboration to non-health sectors.

The two Japanese employers have jointly indicated a requirement of around 500 job openings in the next one two years in the following sectors – Healthcare (200 positions), Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Computer Science/Information Technology) (100 positions), Hospitality (100 positions), and Construction (including Civil Engineering, Building Works, Infrastructure Development, Equipment Handling and Maintenance) (100 positions).

This initiative is part of TOMCOM’s broader mission to diversify international employment avenues for the youth of Telangana. It is closely aligned with Telangana government’s priorities to promote global workforce mobility and empower young professionals with rewarding international career opportunities.

These agreements are expected to pave the way for long-term collaboration, offering a strong platform for skilled workers and professionals from Telangana to participate and contribute to Japan’s evolving labor market. This development further enhances Telangana’s reputation as a dependable and high-quality source of global talent.
