OU professor earns place in Guinness Book of World Records-Telangana Today

Hyderabad: For her participation in a globally coordinated music performance, I Daisy, Professor in the Department of Economics and Director of the SC & ST Cell, Osmania University, earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The record-setting event was organised by Hallel Music School on December 1, 2024, through an online platform. A total of 1,098 participants from 18 countries came together to play Sarali Swaras on the keyboard/piano and simultaneously uploaded their performances on Instagram within the span of one hour.
After a detailed verification process by Guinness World Records authorities, 1,046 participants were officially recognised, including Prof Daisy, marking a moment of global recognition and artistic excellence.
