NZ Cricket Monitoring Safety Of Players In IPL & PSL Amid India’s Strikes Against Pak Terror Camps: Report


New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is closely monitoring the safety of its players who are playing in cricket league of both India and Pakistan. The Kiwi cricketers are currently taking part in Pakistan Super League and Indian Premier League and their safety has become cause of concern after India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Pakistan following Pahalgam attack on May 7.

According to 11 news report, NZC issued a statement to 1News, saying: “NZ Cricket is aware of the relevant reports. We continue to assess the security environment for our players and coaching staff in all overseas environments to ensure they’re in receipt of the most updated advice.

“This includes our national men’s A team in Bangladesh, and New Zealanders involved in both the IPL and the PSL. These security assessments are current and ongoing.”

IPL:Devon Conway, Rachin Ravindra, Trent Boult, Bevon Jacobs, Mitchell Santner.

PSL: Kyle Jamieson, Michael Bracewell, Finn Allen, Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, Tim Seifert, Kane Williamson, Colin Munro.
