Introducing Prop Firm & Small Account Mode! – Analytics & Forecasts – 22 June 2025

Several People in my Community asked me, how to get the best out of this Jewel. Especially the people with small balance accounts want to make sure that they can make some nice profits with this EA AND dont risk too much!

So i implemented a new Mode which i want to explain here a bit further: The Prop Firm Mode which can also be used for Small Account!

The new Prop Firm & Small Account Setup in Burning Grid adds an advanced layer of automated risk control. It is designed for:

  • Traders working under prop firm rules (e.g., FTMO, MFF, iFunds)

  • Users managing small private accounts

  • Anyone who needs hard risk boundaries in volatile markets

With this mode, Burning Grid enforces a strict loss limit—in real-time—before trades are opened.

???? What does this mode do?

When enabled, the EA checks every planned trade against your defined account size and maximum loss cap. A trade will only be executed if it fits within your remaining loss buffer.

That means:

  • No accidental violations of daily loss limits

  • No unintended over-leverage through undersized lots

  • No manual intervention needed—fully automatic and precise

???? How the mode works – step by step

  1. You activate the mode in the EA inputs:

  2. You enter two critical values:

    • Account Balance → e.g. 10,000 USD (FTMO) or 500 EUR (private)

    • Account Limit → e.g. 450 USD (90 % of 5%) or 250 EUR (50%)

  3. From now on, before any trade is opened, the EA checks:

    • Is the lot size above the broker’s minimum?

    • What’s the current worst-case loss from open positions?

    • Will the new trade push the total risk above the limit?

???? This ensures that your maximum allowed loss is never exceeded—even with many strategies active at the same time.

⚙️ The 4 key parameters

Parameter Description
Activation  Must be set to true —this turns the protection logic on
???? Account Balance  Your current trading capital (e.g. 10,000 USD or 500 EUR)
???? Account Limit (absolute)  The hard cap for drawdown, in currency (e.g. 450 USD or 250 EUR)
⚠️ Risk Setting = High (recommended)  Ensures maximum strategy diversity is available (“best of breed”)

???? Part 1: FTMO Swing Account Setup

⚠️ FTMO Requirements:

???? Example Configuration:

Setting  Value
 Account Balance  10,000 USD
Account Limit      450 USD (90% of max. Daily DD)
 Leverage  1:30 (Swing Account)
 Risk Profile  High

???? Test Result (2025.01.01–2025.05.31)

✅ Challenge would be passed with margin to spare.

To profe the power of the new setup, i started a new FTMO Live Signal with this setting:

???? Part 2: Small Account Setup (e.g. 500–1000 EUR)

Smaller accounts are highly sensitive to:

???? Recommended approach:
Set Account Limit to ~50% of account balance to leave enough room for volatility and grid expansion.

???? Example – 500 EUR Account

Setting  Value
 Account Balance  500 USD
Account Limit  250 USD (50% of Account Balance)
 Leverage  1:500
 Risk Profile  High

???? Test Result:

  • Net Profit: 1,176 EUR

  • Max Drawdown: 1.75 %

  • Profit Factor: 5.54

  • Sharpe Ratio: 3.10

✅ This setup shows that even very small accounts can be scaled safely.

???? Example – 1,000 EUR Account

Setting  Value
 Account Balance  1,000 USD
Account Limit     500 USD (50% of Account Balance)
 Leverage  1:500
 Risk Profile  High

???? Test Result:

  • Net Profit: 1,729 EUR

  • Max Drawdown: 5.87 %

  • Profit Factor: 3.24

  • Sharpe Ratio: 4.22
