‘Godfather of siu mei’ Chan Wing-on, founder of Hong Kong chain Tai Hing, dies




Chan Wing-on, who founded Hong Kong cafe chain Tai Hing and became known as the “godfather” of siu mei or Cantonese-style roast meats among his peers in the city, has died in his sixties.
