Helen took to Instagram to share glimpses from the intimate bash, along with a heartfelt note thanking Salim for the “wonderful years together” and expressing gratitude for his kindness, humour and steady presence in their lives.
In the photos, Helen and Salma are seen twinning in black as they pose with Salim, who sits between them, and in another picture, he stands before his birthday cake with both by his side. Helen’s message wished him health, peace and happiness, and praised the love he has given his family over the decades.

Salim Khan married Salma (born Sushila Charak) in 1964, and the couple share four children — Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri. In 1981, he married actor Helen after meeting her on the sets of Don; though the relationship initially faced resistance from his children, the extended family now shares a close and harmonious bond.
