Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday brought full Ray–Rumi energy to Jaipur, lighting up the city as they launched the thumping title track of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri amid roaring cheers. The upbeat vibe, catchy hookstep, and Kartik’s much-discussed physique have already taken social media by storm as fan edits and appreciation posts are flooding timelines. Reuniting after their Pati Patni Aur Woh days, the duo effortlessly slipped back into their spark; all glam, charm, and chemistry.
At the packed press conference, Kartik spoke about Ananya’s growth, especially when asked how it felt to reunite after seven years. He recalled how she was just beginning her journey when they first worked together, and how she now carries herself with a newfound confidence, sharper craft, and a mature ease both on and off screen. He warmly reflected on watching her evolve not just as an actor but also as a person.
He stated, “Ananya has completely evolved. When we worked together earlier, it was only her second film, and she was really nervous. She still gets a little nervous sometimes, but now there is a clear sense of confidence in her art and her work, something that was slightly missing back then. When you start out, you tend to overthink everything.
Kartik added, “From then to now, the biggest change I’ve witnessed in her is this confidence she has gained. Along her journey, she has figured out the kind of roles she wants to do and the approach she wants to take. She now understands the thin line between overdoing and underplaying a scene, and she balances it really well.
“She has truly evolved from the Ananya of 2019 during Pati Patni Aur Woh to the Ananya you see now in Tu Meri Main Tera. You can see it in the teaser, in the song; in the way she carries herself, not just on a film set but outside as well. It’s something many people can’t do easily. She’s talented, she keeps working hard on herself, and that’s a great thing,” he concluded.
With the title track already trending and the Ray–Rumi fever spreading quickly, anticipation for the Christmas release is rising. Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is set to hit cinemas this December and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most exciting rom-coms of the year.
