Israel to reopen Rafah crossing to let Gaza residents leave for Egypt

Residents will be permitted to exit Gaza, yet the crossing’s other direction remains closed despite Rafah being a crucial entry point for humanitarian workers and lorries carrying food, fuel and other essential aid.
