Tel Aviv's Tarbutat café serves as a fragile haven for Israel's progressive camp



The café, which opened two months after the October 7 attacks, is one of the few places in the country where it is still possible to discuss the reality of the war in Gaza. Conceived as a space shielded from political violence, it has nonetheless become a frequent target of far-right activists.
