Raashii Khanna continues to embrace her passion for acting despite the unpredictable nature of the film industry. Known for her work in several projects that have crossed both the Rs. 100 crore and Rs. 200 crore milestones, the actress remains committed to exploring new avenues with each release. In a candid conversation with Zoom, Raashii reflected on a phase in her career when she delivered three consecutive Rs. 100 crore films, only to find herself waiting longer than expected for roles that aligned with her aspirations.

Raashii, who recently appeared in 120 Bahadur, spoke openly about this unusual pattern in her journey. “There was a phase when I was involved in three successive 100 crore films. However, those 100 crore films don’t necessarily guarantee more opportunities. It’s quite puzzling. There have been instances where I’ve had successes, yet I find myself waiting for the right project. Conversely, there have been flops, and I receive better offers, leaving me pondering, ‘What’s going on?’ Does success truly lead to further success?” she said, recalling the inconsistency.
The actress further elaborated on how her trajectory differs from others in the industry. “On the other hand, some actors follow a different path. One success leads to another project, and so forth. My journey has been uniquely strange. I try to make sense of it and prefer to think that they see potential in me as an actor. I’m not sure what they perceive in me. At times, even when my films don’t perform well, they still recognize my potential and cast me. Other times, after achieving hits, I find myself waiting and questioning, ‘Why is this taking so long? Shouldn’t I be getting offers after consecutive successes?’”
Despite the unpredictable highs and lows, Raashii maintains a grounded perspective. She shared, “I’ve distanced myself from the concepts of success and failure. Success doesn’t inflate my ego, and failure doesn’t affect me deeply. I’ve moved past that point where it matters little if a film succeeds or fails. My focus is on working diligently and delivering my best as an actor. That’s all I can control, and nothing more.”
