Hong Kong museum halts Egyptian exhibition tickets amid opening weekend ‘chaos’




Hong Kong’s Palace Museum suspended on-site ticket sales for its popular ancient Egyptian exhibition on Sunday, after the gallery descended into chaos during its opening weekend, with visitors waiting for hours and many demanding refunds.
The museum also announced on Sunday that it would extend the gallery’s opening hours by two hours, closing at 8pm.
