Bosnian Serbs elect an ally of their dismissed leader, preliminary results indicate



In a snap vote intended to settle months of political turbulence, Bosnian Serbs chose to replace the dismissed Milorad Dodik with his ally, Sinisa Karan. Historian Slobad Soja claims, though, that there is no clear ‘ideological’ difference between the two leading contenders, whom he labeled ‘unpopular, selfish and irresponsible.’
