Hello! This week we, like everybody else, have our attention fixed on just one question: Could Donald Trump’s controversial peace plan lead to an end of the war?
Does Trump’s Russia-friendly peace plan stand a chance?
Once again, Donald Trump has done a 180-degree turn on Ukraine, proposing a new peace plan which, typical for his administration, is being rushed forward in record time. The leaked proposal appears, if not openly pro-Russian, then seriously disadvantageous to Ukraine, with some of the provisions completely unacceptable to Kyiv. That said, if Ukraine manages to secure concessions on some areas, the plan could theoretically be a starting point for the most serious discussion on ending the war since the very start of Russia’s invasion.
