KO file photo Srinagar- Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday announced the winter vacation schedule for schools of the Kashmir valley and the winter zone of the Jammu region. School Education Department (SED) Secretary Ram Niwas Sharma in an order said that the vacations for Pre-primary (Balvatika) classes shall commence from November-26 to February-28-2026. In case of middle classes upto 8th standard, Sharma said that the vacations shall be observed from December-01 to February-28.
