Srinagar, Dec 01: Continuing its special drive against illegal mining and transportation of minerals, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday seized 05 Tractors & 01 Tipper involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minor minerals from different areas falling under the jurisdiction of PS Kangan, PS Gund and PP Sonamarg respectively. The vehicles were found transporting minerals without valid permission and were subsequently seized on the spot by concerned police teams in coordination with the Geology and Mining Department.
