Sonu Nigam delivers 3-hour power-packed set at Satrangi Re Hyderabad; extends concert after fans demand more
Hyderabad witnessed a vibrant evening of music as Sonu Nigam took centre stage for the latest edition of the ‘Satrangi Re’ concert, produced by NR Talent & Event Management and conceptualised by BookMyShow. Held before an audience of nearly 10,000 music lovers, the event unfolded as a colour-themed celebration designed around the seven shades of love, with the singer delivering a marathon performance.
Sonu Nigam performed nonstop for three hours, extending the show by an additional 30 minutes to accommodate the audience’s enthusiasm. His setlist spanned a wide range of eras and genres, featuring popular tracks such as ‘Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, and indie favourites like ‘Tu’, ‘Deewana Tera’, and ‘Ab Mujhe Raat Din’. He also revisited crowd-pleasing Bollywood numbers including ‘Bijuria’, ‘Pardesia’, and ‘Mere Dholna’.
Reflecting on the evening, Sonu Nigam said, “After the Satrangi Re debut concert in Mumbai earlier this month, I decided to extend my show by 30 minutes in order to offer audiences more of my music. The music listeners of Hyderabad have a great understanding of and appreciation for good music, hence I went all out in giving them songs across genres and moods. Though I’ve been performing non-stop for the last few days, with concerts of diverse concepts across the US, Canada and India, the love from the audiences is what keeps me refreshed. The moment I took the stage, I knew it would be a magical night. And now, I’ve already started planning something never-seen-before for Satrangi Re in Ahmedabad next month.”
The event’s production scale was noted by the organisers, with Rabbani Mustafa Khan, Co-founder of NR Talent & Event Management, stating, “Hyderabad was a dream come true. Sonu ji’s 3-hour non-stop performance was a testament to his dedication and commitment to his craft. We’re eager to take Satrangi Re to Ahmedabad and make it even bigger and better.”

Sonu Nigam’s arrival in Hyderabad also drew attention when a group of fans welcomed him with an impromptu performance of ‘Bijuria’, a moment that quickly went viral. Similar fan interactions had earlier surfaced from the Mumbai edition of Satrangi Re, where the singer invited enthusiastic audience members on stage.
The Satrangi Re India Tour continues next in Ahmedabad on December 21, followed by shows in Pune, Kolkata and Delhi.
