For the first time, the great Shabana Azmi is working with Emraan Hashmi in the sequel to Awarapan being directed by Nitin Kakkar.
Said Shabana, “It is just a special appearance. They were keen that I do it. My character comes in at a crucial juncture in the story. At this juncture of my career, I am not looking at the length but the impact of role.”
Interestingly, this is the first time Shabana Azmi will be working with producer Mukesh Bhatt. The film is a musical love story with a tinge of tragedy.
