Keke Palmer Is a Nosy Neighborhood Sleuth in ‘The ‘Burbs’ Debut Teaser

In 1989, Tom Hanks paired with filmmaker Joe Dante (Gremlins) for what would become perhaps the most cult-classic film from the iconic actor’s catalogue. Titled The ‘Burbs, the dark comedy flick served as a satirical look at life in the suburbs where Hanks’ character begins to believe that his new neighbors are up to something nefarious. Fast-forward 36 years, and audiences are preparing to visit a very similar universe in the upcoming Peacock series of the same name. Today, the streamer has dropped a debut teaser for the Keke Palmer-led series that will make you want to double-check the locks on your doors. Set for a debut on February 8, all eight episodes of the horror comedy production will be available at once, which is great, because the teaser definitely points to this one being the perfect binge.
