Woman molested in car after being drugged in Kolkata; man arrested

In yet another incident pointing to rising temple thefts across Odisha, miscreants looted gold and silver ornaments from the revered deity at the famous Charchika Temple in Jagatsinghpur. The theft reportedly took place late last night. The temple staff discovered the missing ornaments early on Friday morning and informed the police. According to the complaint lodged at the Sadar Police Station, the thieves targeted the idol of Maa Charchika, removing several gold and silver ornaments before fleeing the spot.
