Mexico arrests 7 bodyguards of assassinated mayor over ‘aggravated homicide’

Authorities on Friday arrested seven bodyguards suspected of being involved in the assassination earlier this month of a popular mayor in west-central Mexico whom they were supposed to be protecting. Researchers have discovered chemical traces of life in rocks older than 3.3 billion years, offering a rare look at Earth’s earliest biology.
